The following passage was taken from tabenn2 blog on the Selznick

“There is still so much more to do. I need to find a translator for all these
documents, I still haven’t found the name of the concentration camp my
Bubby escaped from, and I need to find grant money to make a trip to Yad
Vashem in Israel and to Warsaw to search for the place my grandmother
    called home.’

I think this statement sums up the process of researching perfectly. Hilary Selznick has gone through process after process in order to find information about her grandmother. Even though she has already found enlightening information, she knows she has many more things to discover. This is research is all about. You can be satisfied with everything you have uncovered, but there is always something else to find.

    • I agree with your understanding of the end results of research. Even though Selznick has completed part of here process and presumably completed the class project it was equally as important to see how she understood she is not finished. In the closing she talks about how she is currently in the process of writing a memoir of her grandmother so it would be interesting to see if she is able to get enough information even after a possible trip to Warsaw or Israel. However sometimes you just will never quite have enough to have that 100% correct information to complete your research and perfect your writing (because it is a continual process).
